The heat, waterproofing, and mobility of the jacket made it a winner in our eyes. The insulation kept us completely heat during a cold Northeast ski journey, however we think the jacket could be slightly too toasty for spring skiing. However, the armpit vents are easy to entry and provide a nice breeze to cool down rapidly. We also love the length of the jacket, which made us feel so much extra snug on the mountain and sitting on cold ski-lift chairs. The jacket has all of the bells and whistles any skier would want due to the adjustable hood, cuffs, and helmet, in addition to the wrist gaiters, goggle shammy, and YKK zippers.
